We are at the inter­na­tio­nal import fair of China

The „Chi­na Inter­na­tio­nal Import Expo” (CIIE) has been held annu­al­ly in the metro­po­lis of Shang­hai sin­ce 2018. This year it stands out of all fairs world­wi­de – it actual­ly takes place on site. Our team from Klasmann-Deilmann Chi­na is also the­re and rea­dy to ans­wer the ques­ti­ons of inte­res­ted tra­de visitors. 

The CIIE takes place from Novem­ber 5 to 10 in Shang­hai. As the only agriculture/horticulture rela­ted com­pa­ny invi­ted to this natio­nal level fair, Klasmann-Deilmann Chi­na is pre­sen­ting its­elf to the inte­res­ted public. “We aim at hel­ping local gro­wers impro­ving crop qua­li­ty and pro­duc­ti­vi­ty” says Zhoucen Feng (Klasmann-Deilmann Chi­na). “With our exper­ti­se in gro­wing media, our gre­at pro­duc­tion capa­ci­ty world­wi­de and with our local pro­duc­tion pro­ject we want to show, that we are a reli­able part­ner – in both crop cul­ti­va­ti­on and sub­stra­te pro­duc­tion. On the long run we hope to help impro­ve qua­li­ty stan­dards of sub­stra­te in China.”

Per­so­nal con­ta­ct under strict hygie­ne measures

To be able to hold such a tra­de fair in times of a pan­de­mic, strict hygie­ne regu­la­ti­ons app­ly. For examp­le, our booth staff must have a nega­ti­ve coro­na test to enter the grounds. In addi­ti­on, tem­pe­ra­tu­re mea­su­re­ments are car­ri­ed out at all ent­ran­ces. „We real­ly enjoy­ed the first day at the fair. We feel safe. We’ve alrea­dy had many inte­res­ting con­ver­sa­ti­ons.” reports Zhoucen Feng. Every exhi­bi­tor and visi­tor are requi­red to take a PCR test wit­hin 7 days befo­re ent­e­ring the site. “We wear masks, wash our hands every few hours and remind each other to keep safe distance. Every half an hour, we wipe our tables and touch­screens with dis­in­fec­tion wet tis­su­es, as requi­red by the orga­ni­zer. In addi­ti­on, to mini­mi­ze con­ta­ct, we do not dis­tri­bu­te busi­ness cards. Ins­tead, we put up WeChat QR codes of our sale col­leagues. So peop­le can scan the QR codes by pho­ne and add our sales col­leagues on WeChat. Simi­lar­ly, we do not keep a sign-up book. We made an e‑book for peop­le to sign up, which can be acces­sed through the WeChat account of Klasmann-Deilmann China.”
