Expanded Team for UK and Ireland

Klasmann-Deilmann strengthens its presence in British and Irish horticulture

Klasmann-Deilmann are pleased to announce that as of 1 January 2024 William Bailey will be rejoining the company. He will work as an Area Sales Manager for UK and Ireland working alongside Dean Sandford and Paul Hogben. In addition, Giz Gaskin has just started as Crop Manager Soft Fruit.

William Bailey’s appointment will allow the team to strengthen their focus on the core substrate business, supporting customers through a period of great change. Moreover, the expanded team will also bring innovative growing solutions like Growcoon, Nygaia and Growbags to a wider audience within the industry. Klasmann-Deilmann will contact all customers affected individually.

The geographical areas of responsibility have been redrawn as follows:

  • William Bailey: Ireland, Scotland, Northumberland, Durham, Yorkshire
  • Paul Hogben: Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire, Surrey, West and East Sussex, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk
  • Dean Sandford: Cumberland, Westmoland, Lancashire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Rutland, Huntingdonshire, Northamptonshire, Wales, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire.

Supporting William, Paul and Dean from his base in Kent, will be Giz Gaskin. While Giz will have a global focus on soft fruit within the Klasmann-Deilmann Group, he will be paying particular attention to the home market, where he is already highly regarded within the sector.

Klasmann-Deilmann would like to thank all growers and retailers for their support during this challenging period of transition.
