Meet and greet’ for hor­ti­cul­tu­ral inno­va­tors

The Green­Tech tra­de show was held on the RAI exhi­bi­ti­on grounds in Ams­ter­dam from 12 to 14 June 2019. For Klasmann-Deilmann, it was the second time we had been pre­sent at this event tog­e­ther with our part­ner Maan Bio­Ba­sed. And, as befo­re, this was becau­se of our joint activi­ties in dis­tri­bu­ting the Grow­coon.

The Green­Tech is an annu­al oppor­tu­ni­ty for the inter­na­tio­nal hor­ti­cul­tu­ral sec­tor to meet, and for the tra­de to find out about the latest inno­va­tions and advan­ces, espe­ci­al­ly in the tech­ni­cal field. Almost 12,500 visi­tors from 114 dif­fe­rent coun­tries came. And we scored a real suc­cess with the Grow­coon.

 

The Grow­coon took cent­re sta­ge

Our main the­ma­tic focus was on the use of the Grow­coon in modern cul­ti­va­ti­on sys­tems such as hydro­po­nics, ver­ti­cal far­ming and a com­bi­na­ti­on of the two. For many inte­rested visi­tors, this was an ide­al point of ent­ry into inten­si­ve, pro­fes­sio­nal-to-pro­fes­sio­nal dis­cus­sions with our inter­na­tio­nal sales team at the venue. Fit­tin­g­ly, the­re was a new Grow­coon brochu­re, adver­ti­sing mate­ri­al, a new vir­tu­al-rea­li­ty film – and even the exhi­bi­ti­on stand was bathed in a magen­ta glow: ‘Pur­ple is the new green’.

Grow­coon pro­duct mana­ger Fran­zis­ka Water­mann was hap­py with how the tra­de fair went: “The tre­men­dous rate at which Grow­coon is taking off in the USA shows how much poten­ti­al this pro­duct has. And the com­mer­ci­al-hor­ti­cul­tu­re sec­tor in Euro­pe and else­whe­re is also sho­wing increa­sing inte­rest in our Grow­coon. So it’s good to make full use of all the com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ons opti­ons at our dis­po­sal. The Green­Tech event is a real oppor­tu­ni­ty here, becau­se visi­tors and poten­ti­al custo­mers from all over the world visit our stand. And all of them take at least one com­ple­te­ly new idea back home with them.”

Besi­des the Klasmann-Deilmann team mem­bers from Gees­te and Schie­dam staf­fing the stand, col­leagues from Sin­g­a­po­re, Chi­na, Fran­ce, Ame­ri­ca and Bel­gi­um were also pre­sent. A big thank you to ever­yo­ne for your fan­tastic sup­port,” stres­sed Car­men Meck­len­burg (Head of Cor­po­ra­te Mar­ke­ting).

Green­Tech pro­vi­des an ever-gro­wing plat­form for the tra­de, and so Klasmann-Deilmann has alrea­dy boo­ked its spot for the 2020 event.
