All advantages of our ADVANCED substrates for raspberry and blackberry:

  • High porosity and structural stability: for good root development of crops for one or more seasons
  • Balanced ratio between air and water capacities: adapted to growing conditions
  • Good water retention capacity for even moisture in the root zone: dry substrates limit the quantity harvested and the quality of the fruit
  • Significantly reduces water consumption
  • Limits the environmental impact of cultivation
  • Homogeneous raw materials, free from plant pathogens
  • Lightweight, natural materials allow plants to root easily in the growing environment

Our constituents – Premium quality all from own production:

Sphagnum Peat Moss

  • Ideal base for growing media
  • Various types available to steer structure, water retention and nutrient buffer in the substrate mix

GreenFibre® woodfibre

  • Ensures air capacity and drainage
  • Optimises water distribution and capillarity in the root zone

Coir

  • Pith, crush and fibres available for specific requirements
  • For finetuning of water retention, capillarity and structural stability
