Damian Ikemann appointed Managing Director

Official Start on 1 July 2024

Damian Ikemann has been appointed Managing Director of Klasmann-Deilmann GmbH. From 1 July 2024, he will be responsible for the growth of the internationally active group of companies together with Managing Director Moritz Böcking. Damian Ikemann succeeds Bernd Wehming, who will retire in mid-June. From this point on, Damian Ikemann will be in charge of Finance, Controlling, Human Resources, Legal, IT and Production.

“We are delighted to have Damian Ikemann join Klasmann-Deilmann,” says Moritz Böcking. “Our company is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation in the raw materials and product area, developing new business models in commercial horticulture and the food industry and pursuing ambitious growth targets. With his many years of experience in commercial and strategic fields of activity, Damian Ikemann is the ideal candidate for our further development.”

Damian Ikemann was born in 1983 and studied economics in Bochum/Germany. After several years in a well-known management consultancy, Damian Ikemann moved to an international DAX-listed group. After holding various management positions, he was most recently CFO of a business unit within this group. Damian Ikemann is married, has two children and lives with his family in the Münsterland region in Germany.

“I recognise Klasmann-Deilmann as future-oriented, diverse and agile,” says Damian Ikemann. “The company has been family-owned and consistently successful for more than a hundred years. It has a special appeal to accompany and promote its sustainable development in the long term. I am looking forward to the new tasks and the people I will meet there.”
