Major trade fair in Bangkok

Klasmann-Deilmann welcomes deputy minister

At the end of May, Klasmann-Deilmann Asia Pacific took part in the 8th AGRITECHNICA ASIA & HORTI ASIA 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. With over 300 exhibitors from 28 countries and more than 15,000 visitors from 60 countries, it is the largest event focusing on horticulture in the region.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives. His theme for the fair was “Sustainable Innovation Networks”. During the subsequent tour of the trade fair, the dignitaries made a stop at the stand of Klasmann-Deilmann and YVP Intertrade, our long-standing sales partner in Thailand. Bert Desmet, managing director Klasmann-Deilmann Asia Pacific, explained to them the sustainable background and use of our ADVANCED substrates. The guests from the ministry also showed great interest in Growcoon and Nygaia.
