Beginning your career with Klasmann-Deilmann? Then you’re off to a great start!
Successfully completing vocational training or studies marks the end of a lengthy period of learning. One’s first job with a company is something special, because it opens a new chapter in your life. Career starters have their own expectations, but so do employers; suddenly you have responsibilities.
We’re delighted to welcome career starters, and take the time to make sure they get off to a good start. We know what counts at the start of one’s working life, and pass it on. During induction there is lots of helpful face-to-face dialogue, as well as visits to our business locations (both in Germany and elsewhere) and ongoing assistance from one’s immediate colleagues. This way we all soon get to know each other: the new employee, the experienced colleagues and the organisation.
In-service training: making what’s good even better
Since we want to keep pace with the times, we’re keen to encourage regular in-service training. In certain cases, this includes language courses abroad. Developing additional professional and personal know-how is of crucial importance, especially for our younger employees. So we encourage university studies parallel to their jobs, provided they are relevant to their work or to the company.
We are also strengthening our in-house training measures. We have, for some years now, had good experience of e‑learning programmes on a variety of subject matter, including periodic mandatory safety instruction.
