News from the Growcoon.   Dear customers and business partners, The Growcoon has become an indispensable part of seedling production. It has established itself as a reliable and efficient growing system. The reasons for this are as compelling as they are varied. Here are just a few of them: The young plants can be potted more flexibly in terms of time The Growcoon’s net structure always keeps the root ball together in a stable manner – even with slow-rooting crops The trays with the young plants can be prepared for shipment sooner The Growcoon makes storage and thus the risk of glue plugs, pre-filled trays or similar drying out superfluous The Growcoon can also be used successfully in the cultivation of green and nursery seedlings. Equally convincing is the very easy handling. The flexibility – with which the optimum substrate for each young plant culture can be quickly and loosely filled into the trays equipped with Growcoon – is a real operational advantage. Added to this is the complete biodegradability of Growcoon. This increases sustainability in your production process and creates a credible positive image in communication with your customers.   With so many advantages, how can it possibly get better? Well, it just has!   Awarded: The Growcoon as a sustainable pot alternative Since the end of 2022, the Growcoon has been listed by FiBL for organic horticulture in Germany and Switzerland. It meets the requirements of the current organic regulation (EU) 2018/848, but also other guidelines, such as those of Bioland or Demeter. In total, the Growcoon thus has current approvals for organic cultivation in Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland.     Award: The Growcoon as a sustainable potting alternative The Growcoon P9 replaces the conventional plastic culture pot, avoiding up to 99% plastic. Our new Growcoon in pot size P9 was awarded the 2022 Innovation Prize at the French trade fair “Salon du Végétal”. The new variant enables more efficient and sustainable production. Bedding plants and perennials can be easily planted out together with Growcoon. The Growcoon can be used by end customers, in urban green spaces, or in gardening and landscaping.   Plastic is a thing of the past: Growcoon will soon be making herbs big too The new Growcoon for potted herbs is ready to go. We are currently still developing an automatic potting machine magazine with our technical partner for machine technology. The system is expected to enable you to grow potted herbs very efficiently for food retailers from spring 2023. And all without plastic pots. Basil in the new Growcoon herb pot   Big deal: The micro-growcoon for meristem propagation It measures just 10mm in diameter and yet it is a real milestone: the “Tissue Culture” micro-growcoon has been specially developed for use in automated meristem propagation. Thanks to its special composition, it is stable over the long term and can also be used for autoclaving. Trial quantities will be available from the second quarter of 2023. Regular delivery quantities will then follow from the end of 2023.   The new micro Growcoon for meristem propagation is convincing down to the smallest detail. News from the Growcoon.

Dear customers and business partners,

The Growcoon has become an indispensable part of seedling production. It has established itself as a reliable and efficient growing system. The reasons for this are as compelling as they are varied. Here are just a few of them:

> The young plants can be potted more flexibly in terms of time
> The Growcoon’s net structure always keeps the root ball together in a stable manner – even with slow-rooting crops
> The trays with the young plants can be prepared for shipment sooner
> The Growcoon makes storage and thus the risk of glue plugs, pre-filled trays or similar drying out superfluous
The Growcoon can also be used successfully in the cultivation of green and nursery seedlings.
