This innovative approach, consisting fully of natural, compostable materials, forms the gel into a uniform propagation plug, which helps to give young plants a very consistent and healthy start. It also prevents impurities in hydroponic systems. The root ball gains immediate stability even before root penetration, facilitating automated cultivation steps and thereby shortening cultivation times. Based on our extensive research and development expertise in propagation systems, the entire patent portfolio and the groundbreaking know-how behind this technology are owned by the Klasmann-Deilmann Group.

The gel plug technology will be introduced first in pilot projects with selected major customers to ensure the most practical product development based on real nursery needs.
