We briefly interviewed three young people aged between 19 and 23, asking them three questions each \u2013 for example, how they came to be at Klasmann-Deilmann, what their day-to-day work is like and what their hopes are for the future. Two are trainees on vocational training schemes, and one has gone on to do a degree after such training.<\/p>\n

Marlon Wolters commenced training to become an Industrial Mechanic last summer and expects to qualify in January of 2018.<\/p>\n

Kim Karotki: Mr Wolters, why did you decide to train to be an Industrial Mechanic?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marlon Wolters<\/strong>: I had done an internship in this line of work and really enjoyed it.<\/p>\n

Kim Karotki: What brought you to Klasmann-Deilmann?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marlon Wolters<\/strong>: I was looking for a vocational training place online and found Klasmann-Deilmann. The company made a great overall impression on me straight away, so I applied.<\/p>\n

Kim Karotki: What goes through your mind when you come to work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marlon Wolters<\/strong>: I often ask myself what challenges might await me today. My work is usually very stimulating.<\/p>\n

Vera H\u00f6lscher has been training to be a Business Administrator for Marketing Communications since the summer of 2014. She recently passed her intermediate exams.<\/p>\n

Kim Karotki: Ms H\u00f6lscher, what in particular do you like about Klasmann-Deilmann?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vera H\u00f6lscher:<\/strong> I really appreciate how well the company integrates new recruits and how helpful everyone is \u2013 whatever you might need assistance with.<\/p>\n

Kim Karotki: What do you think your verdict will be when your training is over?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vera H\u00f6lscher<\/strong>: I expect I\u2019ll look back on my training here with happy memories \u2013 however much there is to do, you can always share a laugh. And I\u2019ve found some great colleagues here.<\/p>\n

Kim Karotki: What has been your most memorable experience so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vera H\u00f6lscher<\/strong>: The annual International Plant Fair in Essen \u2013 that really was unforgettable. And it was interesting to see Klasmann-Deilmann from a quite different point of view, to see the bigger picture and gain a broader perspective on one\u2019s day-to-day work.<\/p>\n

Niklas Albers<\/strong> has already been trained as an Industrial Business Administrator at Klasmann-Deilmann and, in the summer of 2014, began a combined vocational training und degree programme. This is due for completion in the summer of 2017.<\/p>\n

Kim Karotki: Mr Albers, you stayed on at Klasmann-Deilmann after your training. Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Niklas Albers<\/strong>: I wanted to develop myself professionally by doing a degree. Klasmann-Deilmann gave me the option of a combined vocational training und degree programme.<\/p>\n

Kim Karotki: What do you like most about your day-to-day work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Niklas Albers<\/strong>: The fact that it\u2019s so varied. I enjoy the highly effective combination of theory and practice, and expect to continue to face stimulating challenges into the future.<\/p>\n

Kim Karotki: And how will your future look when you\u2019ve completed your studies?<\/strong><\/p>\n
