District Administrator Burgdorf was particularly interested in our project to recultivate bog areas with peat moss. This is particularly interesting for the restoration of the “Tinner Dose”, a nature reserve, which was severely damaged by fire in 2018. This nature reserve is the only large natural marshland in western Lower Saxony that has not been touched industrially. Furthermore, there is a common interest in developing the Emsland for tourism.<\/p>\n
