Rootixx – Patented hydrogel for reliable, sustainable and automation-ready propagation

Designed for modern nurseries. Produced on demand.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The early stages of plant development set the foundation for crop quality and production efficiency. Uniform germination, healthy root development and reliable handling are therefore essential, especially in increasingly automated propagation systems.

Rootixx has been developed to address these requirements. This innovative, patented hydrogel forms a homogeneous propagation medium with high cohesiveness. It creates strong root balls for reliable machine handling and promotes rapid, uniform plant growth, ensuring efficient integration into modern propagation processes.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Rootixx is based on biopolymer technology and represents a new approach to young plant production. It is currently being further developed and tested by our R&D team in collaboration with professional growers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1628171821663{padding-top: 30px !important;padding-bottom: 70px !important;background-color: #414345 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][kd_containerslider bgheight=”measure” bgimageheight=”30vh” kindofbanner=”slideshow” sliderfunctions=”showdots” timetillslide=”3″][kd_slider_image image=”110834″ pos_container=”ptopleft” animatecontent=”noanimation”][/kd_slider_image][kd_slider_image image=”110848″ pos_container=”ptopleft” animatecontent=”noanimation”][/kd_slider_image][kd_slider_image image=”110862″ pos_container=”ptopleft” animatecontent=”noanimation”][/kd_slider_image][/kd_containerslider][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

A new approach to propagation substrates

Produce what you need, when you need it

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]Rootixx transforms the way propagation substrates are supplied and prepared. Rather than transporting ready-to-use growing media in bulk or pre-formed plugs, only the dry ingredients are delivered to the nursery, where the growing medium can be prepared as a dispensable gel. Only water is added on site during preparation, enabling the gel-based growing medium to be produced exactly when needed.

The gel’s rapid binding process creates a stable propagation plug directly after tray filling, even before the roots have penetrated the growing medium. This new approach to propagation offers flexible production at the nursery, reduced transport volumes for the propagation substrate, and direct integration into professional cultivation processes.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”111643″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row gap=”0px” css_animation=”none” css=”.vc_custom_1791185367373{background-color: #414345 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

Why use Rootixx?

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]Compared with conventional gel systems, Rootixx ensures a very rapid binding process, allowing gel production and filling devices to be connected directly to existing nursery tray filling lines. Drawing on eight years of experience with this patented gel technology, we provide a superior product for the horticulture industry.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_hoverbox image=”111610″ shape=”75″ primary_title=”New sustainable growing medium” el_width=”100%” hover_title=”” hover_custom_background=”#44A12B”]Plant-based, non-toxic,

As a peat-free, renewable substrate, it provides an extremely clean and consistent rooting medium that does not release particles into the water system. Therefore, it does not clog irrigation lines, drains or filters. As a growing medium solution for modern horticulture, Rootixx offers consistent performance, high moisture retention and structural stability throughout the growing process.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Which crops can be propagated with Rootixx?” tab_id=”1791189165381-bf0d255b-f3c7″][vc_column_text]Rootixx demonstrates high propagation success across a wide range of crops, including vegetables, herbs, ornamentals, foliage and flowering plants as well as microgreens.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Can Rootixx be used in hydroponic systems?” tab_id=”1791189165906-44a631f6-6222″][vc_column_text]Yes. Rootixx is fully compatible with standard hydroponic and recirculating systems, including ebb-and-flow benches, deep-water culture, Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) systems, and drip irrigation towers. One of the main advantages of using Rootixx in hydroponic systems is that it provides an extremely clean and consistent rooting medium that does not release particles into the water system. Consequently, it does not clog irrigation lines, drains or filters.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Is Rootixx compatible with overhead watering?” tab_id=”1791189166413-26eac157-a09c”][vc_column_text]Yes, Rootixx is compatible with overhead, high-frequency misting systems.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Can Rootixx be produced in different shapes and sizes?” tab_id=”1791189456121-45fd1d87-0346″][vc_column_text]Yes!
