Begin­ning your care­er with Klasmann-Deilmann? Then you’re off to a great start!

Suc­cess­ful­ly com­ple­ting voca­tio­nal trai­ning or stu­dies marks the end of a leng­thy peri­od of learning. One’s first job with a com­pany is some­thing spe­cial, becau­se it opens a new chap­ter in your life. Care­er star­ters have their own expec­ta­ti­ons, but so do employ­ers; sud­den­ly you have res­pon­si­bi­li­ties.

We’re deligh­ted to wel­co­me care­er star­ters, and take the time to make sure they get off to a good start. We know what counts at the start of one’s working life, and pass it on. During induc­tion the­re is lots of hel­pful face-to-face dia­lo­gue, as well as visits to our busi­ness loca­ti­ons (both in Ger­many and elsew­he­re) and ongo­ing assis­tan­ce from one’s imme­dia­te col­leagues. This way we all soon get to know each other: the new employee, the expe­ri­en­ced col­leagues and the orga­ni­sa­ti­on.

In-ser­vice trai­ning: making what’s good even bet­ter

Sin­ce we want to keep pace with the times, we’re keen to encou­ra­ge regu­lar in-ser­vice trai­ning. In cer­tain cases, this inclu­des lan­gua­ge cour­ses abroad. Deve­lo­ping addi­tio­nal pro­fes­sio­nal and per­so­nal know-how is of cru­ci­al import­an­ce, espe­cial­ly for our youn­ger employees. So we encou­ra­ge uni­ver­si­ty stu­dies par­al­lel to their jobs, pro­vi­ded they are rele­vant to their work or to the com­pany.

We are also streng­the­ning our in-hou­se trai­ning mea­su­res. We have, for some years now, had good expe­ri­en­ce of e-learning pro­gram­mes on a varie­ty of sub­ject mat­ter, inclu­ding peri­o­dic man­da­to­ry safe­ty instruc­tion.
